Do I need flip flops for a pedicure?

Not if you choose to have a gel polish as it does dry immediately, yes you do need flip flops or open toed sandals to allow time for your toe polish to dry and avoid smudging.

What is the difference between your eyelash treatments?

• Individual Eyelash extensions can last up to 4 weeks depending on how well you look after them. We recommend you come in every 2-3 weeks for infills. These are put on each individual lash.
• A Lash Lift is a lift treatment on your natural lashes to give them a natural appearing curl, these last up to 6 weeks.

How long do your eyebrow treatments last for?

Your eyebrow shape should last about 3-4 weeks. If you have threading they will last 4-6 weeks. For High Impact Brows we recommend every 4 -6 weeks return visit.

What is the difference between all the bikini wax treatments?

• A bikini wax is the hair removed outside your underwear line.
• A bikini line plus is the hair removed from just inside your underwear line and some hair underneath.
• A Brazilian is a strip down the centre and all the hair underneath removed.
• A Hollywood wax is all hair removed.

How damaged will my nails become if I was to have regular nail enhancements?

When you have gel or nail extensions the nail receives light filing to enable the nails to hold, this will quickly recover. To ensure your nails maintain their strength and health, it is important to have any nail products removed professionally. We offer treatments to protect your nails after you have had gel polish or nail extensions removed.

How do I prevent ingrown hairs?

Exfoliation and moisturising between waxing treatments helps reduce in growing hairs, we recommend exfoliating gloves.

Do you have many males come for treatments?

Yes we have a number of male clients who come in for a variety of treatments, men’s facial, massage, waxing, manicures, pedicures, spray tans and eyebrow treatments.

How do you do a patch test?

We test a small amount on the inside of your wrist to make sure you can see the product and can monitor to see if a reaction occurs to tint, perming solution, spray tan solution and eyelash glue. You need a patch test 48 hours before your treatment.

What facial do you recommend?

We recommend you come in for free consultation so a therapist can look at your skin and advise a treatment. We also have some excellent home care products which you can purchase from reception to continue a good routine at home which will contribute massively to the wellbeing of your skin.

Can I have treatments when I am pregnant?

Yes, you can have most treatments. However we would recommend that for some treatments you are over 3 months pregnant because of certain oils we use. Contact us for more information on your treatment options.

Here are some of our most frequently asked questions:

Q; What do I need to remove for a massage/facial?

A; For any facial or back massage we ask of our guests to remove all of their garments from the waist upwards. For full body massages/specialist posterior massages we ask you to remove all garments except underwear. The massage couches are set up ready for you relax into, with covers to keep you warm.

Q; How do you want me to relax into the massage couches?

A; All of our massage beds are set up ready for you, the therapists will tell you if they would like you face up or face down, all we ask you to do is get yourself ready for the required treatment and start to relax. Once on the bed please pull the covers over you to keep you warm until the treatment begins.

Q; Where do I put my belongings?

A; In each room we have dedicated boxes for all of your personal effects, (this also complies with our COVID-19 risk assessment) there are also small trinkets in each room to place any jewellery.

Q; Do I need to wear a face mask for a facial/massage?

A; The answer is yes and no. To enter the salon we need you to wear the face mask until you are taken to the treatment room, when you are having a facial we will require you to remove the mask until the end of the treatment, where you will once again be asked to put your mask back on to leave the salon. (At this point our therapists will be wearing both a visor and a face mask, for everyone’s safety). For a massage where you are facedown we will once again ask you to remove your mask and position yourself onto the massage couch.

Q; What if the pressure is too much or not enough?

A; Please say, we ask all guests if they are happy with the pressure.

Each time you come for a massage there can be a number of factors which can affect how you want your chosen massage to be, our specially trained therapists can adapt their pressure to suit you, this is your massage and we never feel offended if our pressure does not meet your requirements. If you say at the start of you massage we can then work the rest of the massage at you chosen pressure, leaving you feeling relaxed or well worked.
